More about Bryan's Repair Services

BMW's, along with any vehicle can be costly to maintain.
Average shop charges $95 per hour, and double that at the dealership.
As cars age, they need more care and those costs can rack up high. This is where I come in...to help and save $$$!

Your car is my business, and your car gets my best personal and priority attention. When your car is with me, its the only one with me. I do not work on 2 cars at same time. (Scans without repairs excluded)

While I am not a full service shop, the following services can be provided. If it is not listed or mentioned feel free to ask!

Some examples services done:
----(///M cars excluded)----
Valve covers
Intake and CCV Systems
Full BMW DIS/INPA Auto scans (with results given) (From E32 1990 and up to 2005-2006 most models only for now)
Coding certain features (E38, E39, E53 limited only at this time)
OBD2 scan
Cooling system
AC recharge (recharge only)
Brakes (front/rear)
Control arm replacements (full arm only)
Front Struts/Rear Shocks
Coil over installation (alignments not available)
Door cards
Window regulators (4 door models only)
E60 Transmission basic service
Vanos solenoid replacement
Valley pan
M62 timing chain guide refresh/repair
Lower oil pans (on vehicles with 2 pans)
Alternator replacement
Light control module swap with coding (E38, E39, E53 only at this time)
Headlight replacement
Tail Light replacement
Battery Safety Terminal bypass (airbag light on in relation)
Fuel pump changes
Spark plug and Coil pack replacements.
Evap canister swap, some other Evap related
Sensor changes
Factory navigation swap (E38, E39, E46, E53 only)

For NON BMW vehicles, most of the above apply as well. Some vehicles can be scanned for ABS/Airbag systems.

Any heavy line work will not be done, due to space confinements. Heavy line work includes, for example, Engine and Transmission swaps, rear end swaps, fuel tank swaps, axle replacements. Basic fluid changes also are not done, unless its part of existing work.

All torque sensitive repairs are followed with BMW TIS (or other) and this task is completed with a Snap on digital torque angle wrench.

Coming soon will be vacuum leak testing/smoke testing.

Diagnostic Scans have a standard fee of $40, however that does come with a printout or read out copied for you to keep with all codes. If I repair the offending issue $40 is credited to the pre discussed rate.

Currently, there are no preset prices other than Scans.
Typically in most cases, I charge about 50% of the average independent rate based on book time. I do discount for additional work if it is inline with existing work. If you already have an estimate from a shop, please share it with me and I will most certainly beat it.

PARTS: You supply the parts, or I can order them on your behalf (with payment in advance), or refer or show you where to order the parts from to help obtain a combination or choice of fastest parts, warranty on parts, and or best price.
OEM vs AFTERMARKET: It is your car, and your money. I will install your choice of parts. However, I prefer to use OEM parts to avoid issues later. OEM parts are the best designed for your vehicle. BMW and other German vehicles especially are sensitive to electronic sensor or similar parts.
TURN AROUND TIME/REPAIR TIME: I do my best to provide an accurate ETA for completed repairs. In some cases, vehicle needs to be dropped off night prior due to temperature for best results. Typically, I try to complete the vehicle same day, but not guaranteed. ETA for completion varies based on vehicle repair.
