Bubba & Son Family Restaurant

Originally founded in 1992 as the Stevenson Dairy Bar, we have recently given the place a name change and overhaul. During the months of July and August 2013, we started the process of improving the reastaurant's looks by remodeling the dining room, adding an additional non-smoking dining room, and a front deck. We changed the name from the "Stevenson Dairy Bar" to "Bubba & Son Family Restaurant, because for years we specialized in milk shakes, banana splits, and other ice cream products.

During the past few years, we had so many problems with our ice cream machine, that we decided to discontinue all the treats we had for so many years, after going through three seperate ice cream machines! It was a decision we didn't want to make, but it was costing too much money to maintain that side of the restaurant.

So, since we didn't have the ice cream products any longer that we had for years, we decided to not be considered a dairy bar anymore. We changed the name to "Bubba & Son Family Restaurant" because it's owned by Dan "Bubba" Smith jr. & his son, Justin E. Smith( Me ); not to mention that's what we always have been, a family restaurant! We have always tried to welcome everyone to our restaurant and make a warm and inviting atmosphere. We just finally realized that the looks of the place were a bit bland.

So, we decided to give it a makeover and fix some problems we have had for years!

We've always prided oursleves on providing the best food possible at the best price possible. Since day one, we have always cooked our food to order, so it will be as fresh as possible to everyone who visits us. We have always put family first; even with managing, as my Dad, Dan "Bubba" Smith jr. opened the business and has been the head cook ever since; along with myself.

Together, we strive to make our restaurant as enjoyable an experience as we can for all of our customers. We never serve something we wouldn't eat ourselves and we will always make up any mistakes we may make.
