About Buck:
Buck has over 100,000 miles logged in the Back Country. He has ridden and hunted all over the North America and Alaska. He has been Guiding Extreme Back Country Conditions for the last 12 years.
Buck was raised in Soldotna, Alaska, his Stepfather was a Hunting/Fishing Guide/Outfitter for 27 years.
Buck grew up guiding on the Kenai River, for Salmon & trout and Hunting “The Last Frontier.... Alaska” with his Stepfather, Donald F Smith, who taught him how to survive and respect the extreme conditions that the Backcountry and Mother Nature can hand you.
Buck's philosophy: "You should never be ill equipped and underprepared. Respect the country, weather and never underestimate the situations that can occur. Common sense, Preparedness, and Respect! Never go into the Back Country without the proper gear to overcome any & all the situations that you may encounter and always be prepared to save your and/or someone else’s life......
