At Buffalo Community Bible Church, we seek to worship God, and seek to grow in our relationship with Him. We also seek to become better Christians who reflect the very nature of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Our Beliefs:
The Holy Scripture
We believe the Holy Scripture, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, to be the verbally, plenary inspired Word of God, and are the final authority for faith and life. They are inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed and shall be interpreted according to their normal, grammatical-historical and literal meaning. (Matt. 5:18; John 16:12-13; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
The Godhead
We believe in the Triune God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory and having the same attributes and perfections. (Deut. 6:4; 2 Cor. 13:14)
God the Father
We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all those who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ. (Exodus 20:1-7; Psalm 139; Matthew 22:34-40; John 3:15-17, 6:28-29, 32-33, 37-40, 10:14-18, 27-30, 14:5-14)
