Buffalo Fire Department Engine 21

21's is under the command of the 3rd Battalion Chief (609 Broadway) and is led by Captain Reddington. The district is mostly residential with mostly 2 story family dwellings both occupied and vacant. That also includes the Buffalo Medical Campus, Roswell and Canisius College. Also included is MLK park and The Expressway (Route 33). The engine is also apart of the BFD's Technical Rescue Team, along with Ladder 6 and Rescue 1, and are specially trained to respond to incidents that may require special equipment. IE structural collapse of a building, high and low angle rescue, trench rescue, etc….
