Bujinkan Kakure Yama Dojo

Established in 1995, the Hidden Mountain Bujinkan Dojo offers traditional martial arts training based on the skills of Japan's legendary Samurai and Ninja warriors as transmitted by Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. Led by Shihan Karl Koch, the dojo offers training in both traditional and modern weaponry with an emphasis on effective self-defense founded on the principles relayed in the traditional techniques. Both Youth and Adult classes are available and training is provided for those of all backgrounds and skill levels.

Shihan Karl and Carol Koch have been training in the Bujinkan since 1981 and continue to travel heavily to teach and train with top instructors from around the world. Karl is a 15th Dan instructor and a recipient of the Bujinkan's Gold Dragon award for service to the art. In order to help better relay Hatsumi-sensei's teachings, both Karl and Carol continue to travel annually to Japan to train directly with Soke Hatsumi and the Japanese Shihan.
