Burleigh Township is a civil township of Iosco County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population density was 22.3 per square mile (8.6/km²). There were 409 housing units at an average density of 11.8 per square mile (4.5/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.19% White, 0.26% African American, 0.52% Native American, 0.26% from other races, and 0.77% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.55% of the population.There were 301 households out of which 27.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.8% were married couples living together, 7.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.2% were non-families. 19.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 2.97.
