Burlington is a census-designated place (CDP) in and the county seat of Boone County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 15,926 at the 2010 census.HistoryBurlington was incorporated in 1824.Currently, Burlington is unincorporated and considered an unincorporated urban place.GeographyBurlington is located in north-central Boone County. Kentucky Route 18 (Burlington Pike) runs through the center of the CDP, leading east 6mi to Florence and west 7mi to the Ohio River at Belleview.
