Burlington (Kentucky)

Burlington is a census-designated place (CDP) in and the county seat of Boone County, Kentucky, United States. Kentucky Route 18 (Burlington Pike) runs through the center of the CDP, leading east 6mi to Florence and west 7mi to the Ohio River at Belleview. The population density was 1,276.0 people per square mile (492.5/km²). There were 4,083 housing units at an average density of 483.4 per square mile (186.6/km²). The racial makeup of Burlington in 2006 was 93.9% White, 1.89% African American, 0.6% Native American, 1.11% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.94% from other races, and 1.06% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.73% of the population.
