Burn For The King

Burn For The King Ministries was founded by Nathan Harmon. His story is one of the prodigal son, layered with many poor choices as he ran from Gods plan for his life. Growing up knowing who Jesus is, Nathan decided to turn every direction except toward Him. Between the ages of 16 to 23 he found himself looking for love and acceptance anywhere and everywhere.
Nathan battled with addiction to drugs, alcohol, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, verbal abuse, and low self-esteem. All of this led him to making a horrible decision in 2009 to drink and drive, which resulted in a head on collision with a tree that killed his passenger Priscilla Owens. And instead of being confronted with hate and bitterness from Priscilla's family whom Nathan had never met, they stunned him by their love, grace and forgiveness!!! The Owens family forgave Nathan without hesitation. His life was radically changed from this family's act of grace, and it was from their grace that God’s grace became tangible to Nathan.
A fire and passion was kindled in Nathan for the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His purpose became to share it with the broken and the lost, as well as awakening the passion back into Christians who have become lukewarm. The purpose for Burn The King ministries is to breathe and restore the passion for Jesus Christ into people’s lives by focusing on the three D's of a Christian life: desire, determination, and discipline. Learning to restore or cultivate these three aspects in life will do only one thing and that is to awaken one's soul with passion for Jesus!
