Burren Open Mic Tuesdays

Welcome to The Burren Pub!

This is the sign up for our Open Mic Night on Tuesdays.

Open mic runs from 7-12:30 every Tuesday

There will be a feature artist to play right around 9:30 for a 24 minute set

Song sets will be two songs, or 3 quick ones. Set length to be under 12 minutes, including set-up. Being ready with your instrument and gear before your set saves lots of time and makes for a good show for the audience, so be ready!

This new format will make it so we can get more music on, early in the evening and give more people the opportunity to play on the best stage in town. The Burren Pub is a fantastic Irish Pub, Restaurant and Somerville's Premire music venue. We have a killer sound system, a big stage and a great vibe. Mics, instrument cables and a keyboard are provided. All music styles are welcome and hell yes jamming is encouraged!

Open micers are to sign up up for only one spot at a time so we can spread the love around. This means sign up, and then don't sign up again until you have played. Also, bring some friends and make a night out of it. Please show up if you sign up, or if you can't, just remove your listing. There will be some spots always available for in-person sign-up 6:30 on the day of.

Once you get a date, promote it and post on the Burren's Open Mic Page on FB. This will help us promote YOU! Make up a FB page and link us. Bring your friends and hone your craft.
