Burrito Gallery Downtown

Burrito Gallery is known for serving up fresh JaxMex in an eclectic, art-filled, and laid-back environment. Jacksonville is home to three of these motley restaurants, including locations in Downtown, Brooklyn, and Jax Beach. Each location has a come-as-you-are vibe-itude with an undeniable magnetism. While each has a similar vibe, focus on local art, awesome food, and delicious drinks, each also adopts a more specific personality similar to the neighborhood it calls home.

From a Hole-in-the-Wall…
Burrito Gallery started in 2005 with a passion for local art, good food, and tasty drinks. It was a hole-in-the-wall with a line out the door serving up fresh JaxMex to the soul of the city from the heart of the city. On any given day, you’d find a fresh mix of art on the walls and folks filling the seats – but what never changed: a love for people from all walks of life, fresh ingredients, and good times.

To the Whole Enchilada!
Like every great recipe, we’re always evolving, adjusting the ingredients, and aiming to be better every day. We took everything awesome about the original joint, kept the heart and soul, and made it the whole enchilada. We have since brought JaxMex to other parts of Jacksonville that were craving it. And no matter which spot you call home, you’ll always be welcomed by that come-as-you-are vibe-itude and a freshly rolled fat one!

What is JaxMex?
It’s more than simply a type of food, it’s a culture. It’s a little bit country, a little bit rock-n-roll. A local fusion inspired by all the things that make our hometown great, plus some flavors from down south and south of the border. It’s an art form in its own right that isn’t easy to explain, but it sure is tasty!
