Busdog.com's Bus to Chicago

Bus to Chicago (B2C) is an alumni-owned weekend shuttle with service from the Carbondale area to Chicago and many of the surrounding suburbs.

The equipment being used are clean and comfortable 55 passenger MCI buses. They are little larger than most Greyhound buses. Each unit is equipped with DVD monitors, restrooms, Wi-Fi and wide seating.

Our website: www.busdog.com will give anyone the ability to book online any amount of tickets. Tickets purchased in quantity (25 or more) are subject to discount.

We leave on 25 different Fridays with the last Carbondale boarding stop (Lot 45 by the Towers) at 2:30pm. They arrive in Chicago and the suburbs no later than 9:15pm. (See Tentative Schedule below) On Sundays or on the last day of any vacation or long weekend they depart the Chicago area by 4pm and arrive back in the Carbondale area before 10:45pm.

The price is as low as $49 ROUND TRIP.

1.Northwest Express: Friday Pick-ups: Thompson Point 2:15pm, Lot 45 (between rec center and Towers) 2:30pm. Travels non-stop to Monee, IL by 7:40pm and for some passengers, there may be a short transfer. Arrivals at the Elmhurst Firestone Dealership by 8:15pm then proceeds to the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg by 9:05pm.

The return trip leaves at 4:00pm from Woodfield and reverses the route. Approximate non-stop arrival time is 10:45pm in Carbondale.

2. Chicago Direct: Friday Pick-ups: Thompson Point 2:15pm, Lot 45 (between rec center and Towers) 2:30pm. Travels non-stop to Monee, IL and there may be a short transfer for some passengers here. Arrival at the Citgo station on South Street at 95th & Dan Ryan Expy by 8:30pm then proceeds to Union Station on Canal Street by Amtrak's entrance by 9:00pm.

The return trip leaves at 4:15pm from Union Station and reverses the route. Approximate non-stop arrival time is 10:45pm in Carbondale.

You cannot buy one way tickets. You must travel round-trip on the same weekend. No cash refunds. Refunds are given in the form of complimentary, space available round trip tickets. You must reserve at least 5 hours in advance because there are no cash sales at any of the pick-up locations. Tickets in paper form are available in singles or in large numbers at 618-521-5207.
