Bushido Budokan Martial Arts Academy

Bushido Budokan is a traditional karate dojo located in Clinton Township, Michigan.

We teach a blended system of Shorinryu and Shotokan karate with a strong emphasis on practical self-defense. We offer two training programs - Kids Karate (ages 7 to 12) and Adult/Teen Karate (ages 13 & up). Our curriculum emphasizes strong physical conditioning while learning potentially life saving karate skills.

Kids develop conflict resolution skills to either avoid conflict or defend one's self if absolutely necessary. Adult's develop strong self-defense skills and learn how to effectively respond in a multitude of real world threatening situations.

Bushido Budokan is also a training center for students interested in sport karate competition. We have trained many tournament champions, some of whom have won world titles.
