Butter curated exchanged goods

My dad instilled in me the belief that everything has a story. butter exists to celebrate the legacy of passing on special treasures and experiences, both vintage and new.
My father was an avid collector. Inheriting and curating his collections has inspired me to share them and the stories they embody, while respecting and passing on the love that he had for these objects. I learned much I hadn’t noticed before about my father through his collections and my memories of antiquing with him as a child. His collections flavor my collections and choices for the unique finds contained herein. The stories evolve, moving and shifting . . . similarly to my expressive arts work.
Stories are only alive if they are shared, so I have chosen to share these stories with others. I welcome selected collections and stories to this space known as ‘butter.’
butter is for folks with great taste who can appreciate the quality and history behind older items, but have the style to integrate them with any decor. butter is a special place. More importantly, it’s a welcoming, cozy, creative space. butter offers creative monthly workshops (with a twist, of course). As my mission for the shoppe is to hand select and gather items every 10 weeks by favorite artists, jewelers, sculptors, woodworkers and collectors that tell a story -- from $7 to $700 -- there’s something for everyone. Of course there will always be favorites who maintain the foundation. butter is always rewriting it’s story. I’m thrilled to create a space where folks are bound to find something that speaks to them here. The stories continue through you.
