As butterflies selectively collect nectar and pollen from all over, Butterfly Belly's selection of many popular dishes from all over Asia strides to please our guests with warm and colorful ambiance, uncompromising hospitality, fresh, healthy, and most importantly tasty food .

We are a Vietnamese American fusion restaurant which also serve a cross section of Asia's most popular cuisine from China, Thai, India, Korean, Japanese culinary dishes to accommodate the many adventurous palates, groups of families and friends who might have different tastes.

Our Pan Asia menu offers a variety of Vietnamese, Thai, India, Singapore, Korean, Japanese specialty dishes such as Pho, Vermicelli, Pad Thai, Teriyaki, Curry, Pepper Salted Squid, Luc Lac Steak Bites, Sizzling Ducking Steak, Banh Mi Waffles, Bun Thit Nuong, Korean BBQ Short Ribs, Quails, Vietnamese Crispy Fried Rice, Thai Fried Rice, Spicy Vietnamese Beef Salad, Chicken Salad, Tofu Salad, Lemon Grass Chicken, Fried Chicken & many more.

Appetizers includes fresh daily rolled and roll per. order Egg Rolls, Salad Rolls, Shrimp Dragon Tails, Bean Sprout Fries, Carrot Fries & fish sauce caramelized buffalo wings(Fish Wings). Our salad rolls are freshly made to order from our grill and not the pre-rolled with steamed pork and shrimp. All our appetizers are not from the frozen sections. They are hand made here.

Beverages: Thai Iced Tea or a Vietnamese– Cafe Phin dripped, iced coffee, or Italian Soda, or a libation from the full bar.

We use non-GMO vermicelli noodles, tofu, and peanut sauce, and are committed to cooking using fresh and natural ingredients. We make our own in house pad thai sauce, teriyaki sauce, salad dressings, hoisin sauce, siracha sauce, and meatballs. Our goal is to minimize or completely eliminate the use of any preservatives, provide many allergen free food, and minimize as much contaminants as possible.

Thank you to all of the love and support from our customers we had made significant strides each and every year to serve you better. In example, we start out on 1st year as MSG free friendly, 2nd year as MSG Free with GF options, 3rd year as 100% MSG & Gluten Free with 25% Soy Free options. In our fourth year, we will try to make our flavoring bases so that 50% of our menu can be soy free and bring our zero preservative goal to fruition. Currently all ready made flavoring bases contain either MSG, Soy, and or both.

History:

Butterfly Belly is founded in July 2013 by a local Mt. Tabor neighborhood family with a goal to contribute 25% of its future profit to a start-up Youth Leadership non-profit called One of Kindness. You can find us on Facebook.com/oneofkindness.

Owned by a brother and sister tandem who live just a few city blocks from the restaurant. It is truly a labor of love and neighborhood establishment.

It all started because of a lifetime goal from one of the owners, whose dream is to create non-profit which focuses on youth leadership and higher education development. Minh Tran left a very well paid 14 year engineering career at one of the world top semiconductor/computer company to start up a non-profit called One of Kindness and this restaurant establishment. The goal is to have a well managed and profitable restaurant which in turn would mean that Minh Tran will be able to free up 4-5 days a week of his tie to focus on the non-profit full time.
