Butters is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bladen County, North Carolina, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 294.GeographyButters is located at 34°33'37" North, 78°50'42" West (34.560262, -78.844955).According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.4km2, of which 0.02sqkm, or 0.67%, is water.DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 261 people, 108 households, and 77 families residing in the CDP. The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.72% White, 4.60% African American, 2.30% from other races, and 0.38% from two or more races.
