BYSA Field Hockey is a not-for-profit volunteer organization whose purpose is to develop youth players, into competitive, well-rounded athletes, while promoting respect, sportsmanship and a love for the sport of field hockey. *Equipment*
In order to participate in practices and games, you will need to make sure you have all the necessary equipment with your child on scheduled days. There will be a limited supply of items that can be rented out to children who do not have their own equipment. Mouth guards can be purchased directly from the coach, for $1. If you would like to participate in the rental program, please make sure you contact Head Coach, Crystal Harvey.
The listed Items below are things that your child will need this season.

-Field Hockey Stick (Stick must reach the top of your hips for best fit).
-Eye Goggles
-Shin Guards
-Mouth Guard
-Black Shorts *to be worn at games*
-Black Knee high socks *to be worn at games*
-Cleats
-Water Bottle
-Weather appropriate athletic attire *Practices*

*2015 BYSA Field Hockey Schedule*

Practices will be held at BCEMS on the field that is attached to the playground. Practices start promptly at 3:30pm and end at 5:00p.m It is recommended that children show up 10-15 minutes prior to practice to put on their gear and weather appropriate clothing.
