Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club

Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club was founded in 1932 as a sailing club by a small group of sailboat enthusiasts. Over the years,CBYC has grown steadily in terms of its membership, facilities, and the range of activities offered.

Tucked away on the lee (warm side) of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and overlooking LA Harbor, the CBYC clubhouse and marina are situated in the most pleasant micro-climate in the area. Our unique location provides the finest, and shortest, trip to Catalina Island. The winds found in "Hurricane Gulch" provide excellent conditions for sailors of all types of boats, from sabots to sleds and is a frequent venue for many major regattas.
