Cadet Firefighters of the Lake Jericho Fire and Rescue Department

Cadets are trained in accordance with national and Commonwealth of Kentucky standards and guidelines for junior firefighter programs in order to ensure the quality and safety of the Cadet firefighter and prepare them to better assist the department's firefighters on the fire ground as well as with first responder and other services provided by the department. While not allowed to participate in the kinds of hazardous or dangerous activities associated with fire suppression, skills learned through training alongside the departments firefighters will help prepare these young men and women for a great start in a rewarding career or a continued successful volunteer member in the fire service.We put a strong priority on school,educational performance,pride ,and professionalism.
