Café Batata is a cozy Brazilian café and eatery. Café Batata serves brunch, lunch and dinner, but it also identifies as a café and provides customers with a laid-back and convenient space where they can work or study (i.e., free Wi-Fi) or host social events and gatherings. The backspace of the café is also available for booking, so customers can host their own private events such as parties and meetings. Most of the items on the menu are gluten-free. It is BYOB so customers can bring their own alcoholic beverages to enjoy with their meals.
Café Batata’s signature dish is the Batata Suica, Swiss-Brazilian style pan-fried potato pancakes with different kinds of stuffing along with everyday essential beverages such as espresso, drip coffee, and a variety of Brazilian specialty drinks. Espresso and coffee are all organic and fair-trade certified. In addition to the potato pancakes, other meal options include paninis, salads, and daily special soups. For lighter snack options, it also offers Brazilian pastries such as cheese bread, fried croquettes, sweets, and freshly baked gluten-free and regular pastries. On weekends, Café Batata serves different and unique brunch options.
