Named for the small village in Spain where St. Dominic was born, Caleruega, Spain; the Caleruega Dining Hall was built in 1959. The modern chalet-style building on the corner of Magnolia and Palm, offers a variety of tempting choices including many vegetarian, "California cuisine," and ethnic dishes.
Daily selections include made-to-order deli sandwiches, hot entrees, freshly-made soups, salads, pastas, and homemade pastries and desserts.
Caleruega serves 19 meals per week. Resident students may choose either the 19, 14 or 10 meal plan. Guests and commuter students may pay for individual meals at the door or they may purchase a meal card.
Dominican's food service is managed by Bon Appetit Management Company.
