Venture Church

The Call:

In September of 2012, God began to ignite a new passion deep within my heart. This new passion, was the call to plant a church, and was something that I had never experienced before. God is continuing to confirm His calling, and give me an intense burden for the task that He is calling my family and me to do. As we began praying for a location, God brought this community to our mind, and hearts. We see a great need for a vibrant, Bible centered, community minded church, with the Calvary Chapel DNA. After months of prayer, fasting, counsel, and fact finding trips, we believe that Port Orange is the place that God is calling us to take this venture of faith. We know that God goes before us, and we are expecting the unexpected! Isaiah 41:10 -Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you,Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

WHAT? - (Missional Mandate) “WHO WE ARE”

Reach - this lost, broken, depressed, hopeless, godless, generation with the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Teach - Unapologeticly through the bible in context to bring about repentance, contrition, direction, and purpose, while creating a responsibility for the great commission.

Equip - Train leaders, missionaries, teachers, church planters, pastors and lay leaders to reach their greatest potential in the areas they are called.

Send - Christ followers out to our local community and the world to reproduce, sharing the love and grace of our Savior Jesus Christ.

WHY? - (Values and Motives)

We believe that the church is the hope on earth and that no one should be left out.

We believe that salvation from sin and death is only found at the cross of Christ.

We believe that the time is NOW, because the days continually growing dark/evil. Today is the day of salvation. BE READY!!

We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again and we want to see a bigger family in heaven.

We believe that not only go people have gifts, they in fact are a gift. Our goal is to see those gifts reach their greatest potential for Christ. - Each person belongs and matters. (We all have a divine spark inside of us! - There is only one you!)
