Are you ready to IMPACT Calvin College?

IMPACT introduces you to Calvin through creative activities focusing on belonging, thriving , and developing your own story of success!

IMPACT is a 3.5-day mandatory program designed for incoming AHANA (African American, Hispanic American, Asian American, Native American, or Bi-racial) students as well as your adult family members. This programming is designed to complement the PASSPORT I,II, or III and overall orientation experience.

This exciting and enriching experience for incoming AHANA students will help them to learn Calvin from the inside out and embrace the challenge to create a positive IMPACT on their school and community. We promise you’ll have a great time, too, as you learn, laugh and begin to forge invaluable bonds with your classmates!

As a participant in this orientation experience, you will connect to your first year peers and the current students, staff and professors who will be allies and advocates for your success at Calvin. Your parents or guardians are invited, too—we have a special dinner planned for them!

IMPACT is scheduled from August 28-31 with both on-campus and off campus components. Programming for parents or guardians is also incorporated in the experience. For more details, please contact IMPACT@calvin.edu.
