Camp Burton

SUMMER CAMP is for kids in 1st - 12th grade and runs Sunday through Friday. Camps are divided up by age group to ensure a fun and positive experience for everyone.

DAY CAMP is the best of our summer residence camp program condensed into a seven-hour day from 9-4 (M-F) for kids age 4 through 3rd grade. We'll have worship and Bible study as well as all the other activities offered at Summer Camp, which will challenge the campers to do their best.

FAMILY CAMP exisits to refresh and encourage your family. Our staff will lead you in fun outdoor activities designed just for families. We'll provide all your meals, do the cleanup, and lead your family in worship activities.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP -
Camp provides a great training ground for our next generation of leaders. On staff or as SWAT participants, youth get a chance to develop their gifts and talents while serving others and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Camp provides and environment like no other. Spending a summer serving God through the ministry of camp has a dramatic and positive impact on their relationship with Christ so youth return to their churches and communities as stronger, more confident leaders. Staff are recruited from local churches, area colleges, and from around the world. (Counselors are required to be high school graduates.)

RETREATS AND GROUP RENTAL -
Camp Burton is an ideal setting for weekend or day retreats for youth and adults. It's also great for planning seminars, team-building events, outdoor education, reunions, and picnics. There's even an outdoor amphitheater for concerts! Our heated cabins and lodge can provide housing for over 200 people while our meeting rooms and dining hall can accomodate groups groups up to 150 people. We can add excitement to your meetings with our Team Building and Challenge Programs. Meeting rooms provide you with space to gather, wireless internet, sound systems, and projectors to meet all your AV needs. Our gymnasium allows you to have fun in any type of weather and is big enough (9,375 sq. ft.) to handle very large groups. Activity areas include basketball court, volleyball court, four-square courts, and indoor climbing wall.

TEAM BUILDING -
Camp Burton can accomodate groups with up to 50 participants for half-day, full day, or multiple day challenge adventures. Initiatives include low ropes challenge courses, high element challenges, zip line, 42' climbing tower, 53' high Team Ascent, and 30' five-lane indoor climbing wall. Our staff is experienced in group dynamics, communication development, course facilitation, and safety/medical issues. You will strenghthen inter-personal relationships and build positive reinforcement in the work place while making a lifetime of memories.
Through team-based activities and experiential learning, our staff will guide your group to new heights as a community while breaking down barriers, encouraging the development of interpersonal learning and growth. You will be challenged to tap into a wide variety of skills, from creativity, comunication, problem-solving, and strategic planning. Participants are certain to interact with their environment and each other in ways they could have never imagined.
