Major construction of the trail is done and it is now 16.2 miles including Connectors. The trail in the Westland area can be accessed from Galloway Rd, Stonewell Ct, Barstow Ct, Norton Rd, Hall Rd and Sullivant Ave.

Camp Chase Trail is part of the larger Ohio to Erie Trail connecting Cincinnati to Cleveland. It is also a central segment of the new US Bicycle Route 50 which runs west to east across Ohio, connecting Indiana to West Virginia.

In the coming years, the two short road route connectors will be improved as trail connectors: 1) Within Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park and 2) Alongside Sullivant Ave and Georgesville Rd.

Travel the trail the RIGHT way! The trail is for people-powered transport only - no motorized vehicles or motorized children’s toys. Please run, walk, rollerblade, skateboard and bike on the RIGHT side and when you need to pass, do so on the LEFT side and give warning with a bell or say "passing". When passing it's OK to cross the yellow line and then return to the right side, as long as the oncoming trail lane is clear, if not yield until you can pass safely. Always YIELD to slower moving trail users. Come enjoy your new Trail!
