Camp Emerson

Welcome to Camp Emerson!

We're a family owned summer camp for girls and boys age 7-15. Located in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts on 170 gorgeous acres. Campers design their own programs from over 50 activities including: watersports, swimming in our heated pool, athletics, science, art, theater, wilderness, cooking and more!

Our campers describe themselves as kind, smart, creative, rule-following people who like to do a lot of different activities. They are good friends to each other and feel safe under our care. Our phenomenal staff of skilled instructors share their passions and inspire the campers to try new things. Overall we have 100 staff for 220 children; an amazing ratio.

We are also known for being experts in handling food allergies. Sue Lein, owner and camp director, is allergic to eggs and made this her mission to provide a safe environment for all children to eat safely and be themselves.

Since 1968 we've been the home away from home for 1000's of children. We pride ourselves on knowing each child and family and attending to the details that make for a successful experience away from home.
