Camp McCall is open daily for swimming, hiking, camping, and picnicking. There are overnight facilities to accommodate groups of approximately 70 people. A two acre lake with a continuous supply of fresh water is available for canoeing and swimming. There are numerous trails for hiking through the mountains with views of flowing streams and waterfalls. An outdoor chapel is available for worship.
Camp McCall has 264 acres of mountains streams valleys, and coves. Located in the northern end of Rutherford county, the camp is adjacent to the 17,000 acre NC Game-lands and 18,000 acre South Mountains State Park.
