Camp Rise Above

Children with life-threatening illness are often defined by that illness. By focusing on the child's strengths, Camp Rise Above builds confidence and helps each child feel normal in a fun, safe and sometimes challenging summer camp experience. This is the impossible dream of Barbara Denton, co-founder of Friends of Santa Claus of North Carolina, Inc. and founding director of Camp Rise Above.
