Candid Touch Photography and Design is the creative vision of Mandi Mayernik. I pride myself in making the Candid Touch Photography experience as unique as my clients. I strive to capture the personality and love of each family, the beautiful softness of a newborn, the romance between a bride and groom, and the confident smile of a graduating senior. My attention to detail from your session to your gallery is unprecedented to create timeless portraits that truly portray life as art.

I am an alumni of The Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg with a BA in Interactive Media and Design. Since graduating in 2007 I have designed everything from training for the Department of Defense, user interface design for software companies, museum exhibits, websites, and even motocross graphics. However, in 2009 my love of photography lead me to open Candid Touch Photography and Design.

I specialize in on-location natural light photography that is anything but traditional. Each session is tailored to fit the personality of the client. Whimsical, bold, fun, and spontaneous; nothing is out of the question. Bed on a beach, yeah, I've done that.

I'm so excited to bring a new element of photography to the Tri-State area. I've learned what I truly love about photography is the unexpected details and creativity I can bring to life for my clients. Taking portraits to an entirely new level I am offering my Inspired Sessions. These are nothing short of dramatic, whimsical, and over the top. Truly one of a kind, I bring themed and stylized sessions to life. I look forward to creating photographic art that will hang in your homes for generations to come.
