Canoa Sport

Canoa is a beach town in Ecuador, where the waves and beauty inspired us to create a new style of business back home here in Beaverton Oregon: A business where you can let loose, skate, snowboard, surf, ride dirt bikes, hang out and get out.
A group of five life-long friends decided to do something else with their lives: we found a way to break off from school and career and following the same path our friends and peers, and decided to venture to another part of the world. We worked a year in Dickinson North Dakota, 80 hour work weeks, in the oil fields, living in tents and storage units, and saved every penny we could scrounge to travel to South America. We were told a thousand different ways how we would be mugged or locked up. But instead we found beauty. And aside from all the jungles, hot springs, ancient ruins, life long friends, culture, adventure, we found simplicity. We found a life long home away from home. a place where life really pried open our eyes and showed us inspiration to really break away from what others want us to live, but how we want to live. Although we have returned here to the United States a part of us still lives and will forever be on Canoa time, thank you tom. hell Yeah
