The Canyon Crossroads Transportation Museum at Celebration Park is one of approximately eleven of its kind in the nation. Canyon Crossroads Museum is a Kunsthalle, a non-collecting institution. It has no permanent collection and has no plans to form one. Kunsthalle is a German term for a facility that mounts exhibitions, a centuriesÂ-old tradition of presenting art and artifacts on loan from other institutions.
The museum's mission is to offer high-quality, consistently excellent academic opportunities with exhibitions and related programming that are constantly changing, providing opportunities for cultural, technological, scientific, and environmental education.
Canyon Crossroads Museum and Celebration Park are operated by Canyon County Parks. It is free of charge to visit the Museum, with a park Day Use fee of $2 per vehicle.
Membership to the Friends of Canyon Crossroads Museum includes a Season Park Pass, plus invitations to special events and activities. Details available at the Museum and the Celebration Park Visitors Center.
