Located on the North Shore of Big Bear Lake in secluded Fawnskin Harbor, Captain John's Fawn Harbor and Marina offers big city services with a small town ambience. We pride ourselves in providing customers with a serene, uncrowded atmosphere, while offering a wide variety of services and recreational activities.

The North Shore of Big Bear Lake is the perfect place to paddle a canoe or kayak. Grout Bay is Mother Nature at her finest - a habitat for many animals and is a bald eagle nesting site. You can cruise quietly along the shoreline, looking for beavers, great blue herons, osprey and ducks. Captain John's Fawn Harbor & Marina rents a variety of kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards. We have pontoon boats, speedboats, fishing boats and bass boats! We also offer exclusive Naish Standup Boards and paddles for sale!

Captain John's offers a variety of slips and moorings. We have private slips, double slips, beach spots, and dry dock. Our slips and moorings are rented by the day, week, month or season. Our docks are built with only the best materials available. We also offer dock removal and relocation, repairs and maintenance. We do have public launching available for a fee. Please make sure you have your updated Lake Permit and up-to-date tags on your vessle! All boats will be Quagga Mussel inspected by our certified staff.
