Captain Jons

Located along the waterfront and built in 1909, Captain Jon’s is steeped in Tahoe history and remains one of the oldest buildings on the lake. It was once a waterfront casino, post office, and even a stop for elegant travelers aboard the Tahoe Steamer. Our hope is to bring back some of the character and charm of Tahoe Vista. Captain Jon's offers wonderful fresh american dining with a spectacular view. The boathouse is the perfect place for a relaxing lunch on the pier in the summer months or a romantic diner by our fireplace in the winter. Our talented Chefs have created a menu featuring classic flavor combinations prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
