Carmichael Middle School

Carmichael Middle School offers students a wide range of required and elective classes. Students are required to take two semesters of language arts, mathematics, science and social studies as well as a semester of physical education each year. Sixth and seventh graders take six quarters of exploratory classes or two quarters of exploratory classes and band or choir. Eighth grade students take three semesters of elective classes or a one semester elective class and band or choir. Students choose from a variety of exploratory classes including home and family, art, technology, math imagination, mythology, Spanish, German, speech, reading skills, leadership, band and choir. All grade levels have advanced math classes and students may take algebra and foreign languages for high school credit.
