Attorney Jones Russell earned her Juris Doctorate degree (cum laude) from the University of Mississippi Law School in 2008, after first completing her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has also studied abroad at King’s College in London, UK in the areas of international finance and economics.

A native of Hattiesburg, Attorney Jones Russell returned to her hometown in 2009 to practice law with her aunt, Judge Deborah Gambrell, at Gambrell Law Firm, PLLC. Since then she has represented numerous clients through the Gambrell Firm, and as an attorney with the Forrest County Public Defender’s Office. She currently serves as a parent attorney representative with the Forrest County Youth Court and as a municipal court judge, pro tem with the City of Hattiesburg Municipal Court.

Attorney Jones Russell was a participant in the Pine Belt Leaders Class (2011) sponsored by the Area Development Partnership. She is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, the Magnolia Bar Association and the Hattiesburg Area Young Lawyers Association. She is also a member of The University of Southern Mississippi Alumni Association and Pineview Presbyterian Church.
