As the former graphic design manager at the Dallas Zoo and the illustrator and graphic designer for the Dallas Children’s Aquarium. While working with the zoo and aquarium, I struggled mightily with the captivity of other species. It has informed my current position on animal rights, as has being a long-time vegetarian.
I’ve studied art at The University of Oklahoma, The New School in NYC, and Art Center and Associates in Art, both in California. I’m also a member of the Denver Student Arts League. I’ve exhibited artwork at the San Diego Museum of Natural History, The Wildlife Experience in Colorado, the Grouse Mountain Resort and Wildlife Refuge in Vancouver, the Hiram Blauvelt Wildlife Museum in New Jersey, and the Sonora Desert Museum in Arizona among others museums and galleries.`
10% of my profits from painting or print sales is donated to charities that fight for animal rights and/or fight the good fight to keep wildlife wild.
