Choosing the right counselor for yourself or a loved one can be overwhelming, and finding the right fit is important. You've already taken a brave step- considering counseling! Life will most certainly involve twists and turns and at times we need support to straighten out the path. I believe that counseling is to the soul what the fitness center is to the body and that each and every individual can reap the benefits that counseling provides.
I provide trauma-informed services to adults of all ages and adolescents, ages 12-18. I am specifically trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well. In addition to trauma services my other clinical interests include anxiety, depression, tough life transitions, and relational issues, just to name a few.
I believe in the healing and transformational power of the counseling relationship and that we all deserve to be trusted, loved and unconditionally accepted for who we are. I provide a safe place for vulnerability and from this comes growth and change.
