Casstown is a village in Miami County, Ohio, United States. The population was 267 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area.HistoryCasstown was originally called Trimmensburgh, and under the latter name was laid out in 1832 by one Mr. Trimmens, and named for him. The present name honors Lewis Cass, an American military officer, politician, and statesman.
