Castille Athletic Training Academy

Athletic Training Academy was founded by Buddy Castille in August of 2011. This academy was created to provide individual instruction to young athletes, giving them the correct techniques, tools and knowledge to excel in any sport. The knowledge and training the athletes will receive from this academy will not only make them better players, but better athletes as well.

With 18+ years of playing and coaching experience, Castille has gained an abundance of knowledge in all sports. Having played and lettered for 4 years at Carencro High School, he was an All-District LB for 1996 & 1997 seasons. Castille returned to Carencro as the assistant LB coach for 2 seasons. Following a short stint a ULL, Castille played semi-pro football for 2 seasons with the Lafayette Hurricanes. While he was with the Hurricanes, he was a 2 year captain, a 2 year All-Star and part of the 2008 TLSWFA Championship winning team. Following his playing career, he was named the Defensive Coordinator for the Hurricanes and had the #1 defense for the 2010 season. In July of 2011 he was offered the head coaching position for the South LA Oilers. The 1st year team rose in the national rankings to #4, according to Minorleaguefootballnews.com and finished the season in the TUFA undefeated.
