Cathedral Dance Festival

What is the festival all about?

An exciting day bringing local and national dance schools together to celebrate and share dance with each other. The festival includes master classes, seminars, adjudication, a gala concert and the opportunity to meet new friends!

Who can participate?

All dancers ages 7 and up are invited to attend. Dance schools can bring dances for adjudication and individuals may attend the festival to participate in all classes and events without being adjudicated.

How much does it cost to participate?

The cost to participate in 2-day event is $150 per participant. For the first 10 registered participants, 1 owner/teacher/director may attend at no cost. For every 10 registered participants beyond the initial 10, 1 teacher/director may attend at the reduced rate of $35 for 2 days and $30 for 1 day.

Tuition includes:

2 Master Classes taught by dance professionals
Seminars in nutrition, dance careers, injury prevention & wellness
Adjudication – have your dance critiqued by industry professionals
Lunch
Festival shirt
Gala Concert Ticket

2 day cost per participant is $150.00 Friday Only cost per participant is $60.00 Saturday only cost per participant is $100.00

Can I register after March 1st?

Yes. After March 1, 2017, registration is based on availability. Please contact us at cathedraldancefestival@gmail.com to inquire. We will have the final schedule and details to you within one week of the festival.

Gala Concert

Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 @ 7:30pm, Grace Church
Open to the public. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

Previously, our Gala Concert has featured amazing talent, including: St. Paul Ballet, St. Olaf College, Twin Cities Ballet, Eclectic Edge Ensemble, Crash Dance Productions, Jeremy Bensussan, One Dance Company & Borealis Dance. If you know of a company or individual performer who would like to be considered for this opportunity, please email our staff at cathedraldancefestival@gmail.com.

In addition to these professional companies, the adjudicators will be selecting the top performances from the day to open this exciting evening.

All participants will receive a ticket to the Gala Concert included in their participation fee. The concert will be open to all and tickets will be available for purchase in advance.
