Experience the best of both worlds at Cedar Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast in Essex, Massachusetts. Our family farm is over 300 years-old and sits on 18 acres of pristine fields and forest with hiking trails and plenty of wildlife.

The 1695 Colonial farmhouse has stood fast in its original state with exposed post and beam construction, hand planed woodwork and wide plank flooring. It is updated with an eclectic mix of old and new, repurposing the majority of vintage items found around the farm that date back hundreds of years. The first public “Free School” was established in one of the upstairs chamber rooms in 1695 - one of the two rooms available in the farmhouse. We also offer a loft apartment in the lower barn. Each room has a private full bath with towels, WiFi and Cable TV. We can provide everything you need for a trip to one of the beautiful nearby beaches and suggest area attractions to see in Essex and towns including Ipswich, Gloucester, Rockport, Salem and Boston.
