Cedar Rock Farm

After a busy productive summer and fall, we are going into hibernation for the winter. Check back in mid-January to see what's up for 2018.

Cedar Rock Farm is operated by a small community of individuals from all walks of life that have been brought together by their mutual love of working closely with nature and maintaining the majesty of the beautiful land on which the farm resides. Each member of our diverse community has dedicated their time and unique skills to the farm with the intention of learning how to live cooperatively with nature and each other, and to reduce our ecological footprint, rather than competing for scarce resources and creating an excess of harmful waste.

Cedar Rock Farm does not use potentially harmful chemicals such as pollinator-killing pesticides or herbicides. We incorporate many permaculture farming techniques and use natural soil amendments - mostly hand-gathered to maximize sustainability. We offer high-quality products at affordable prices and use all-natural and many homegrown ingredients.

In the summer of 2016, we were able to, for the first time, focus our efforts toward sharing our mission with our local communities through our first ever CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) in which we sold shares of our produce to eight families in the surrounding area for an eight-week season. The recent success of our 2017 CSA has bolstered our ambitions to serve an even larger number of local families, and for a longer season, in our efforts to share with our fellow humans wholesome food that has been grown responsibly and with love."
