Dr. Rasmussen has been practicing in the Cedar Valley since graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO in 1991. Since graduating from college she has been a bit of a knowledge junkie and has received additional certifications in the diagnosis and treatment of extremity conditions (CCEP), acupuncture (FASA) and sports injuries (CCSP). She has been active in the business community both locally and and on a state level. She has served in chair positions of the Cedar Falls Chamber of Commerce and in the Iowa Chiropractic Society(ICS). She served on the local ICS board beginning in 1992 and then in 1993 began to serve on the state board. She was President of that board from 1999-2000. She returned to the ICS board in 2009 and continues to serve on the Board of Directors.
