Welcome to CWC’s Facebook page! Here’s a personal invitation from us to you to come visit us soon. When you do, expect a warm welcome and a group of real people just like you who’ve come to praise and worship the Lord they love. We believe the Bible shows us that real worship is all about Him. He’s the audience, not us. So, we don’t put on a show to entertain the crowd or just fire everybody up, we come together as His people to sing to Him, tell Him how much we love Him, and thank Him for every single thing He does for us. We see Jesus’ command in the Bible to love God and love our neighbors as a non-negotiable. It’s the very definition of how a faithful disciple of Christ is to live their life, which is what we as a church have been called to do – make faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Our worship services are best described as contemporary and relevant.

The Music:
Music has the power to speak to the heart. Since we all have hearts that thrive on encouragement and need to be energized, the music at CWC is both encouraging and energizing. We want to give you a lift when you come to worship! If you listen to one of the local contemporary Christian radio stations, you know the type of music we're talking about. Fresh, uplifting and full of encouragement. That's not to say we won't throw in an old Christian standard or two with a different arrange,ent. Come and join us to see what a difference the music can make!

The Message:
CWC is committed to the Bible as our guide for living and to the necessity of salvation through faith in the resurrected Jesus Christ. But, we realize that not everyone has arrived at this understanding and that's why we're a "safe place" for those who would like to examine the claims of Christianity. We invite all truth seekers to visit our services and learn more. Pastor Stu King's messages might best be described as expository preaching. Expository means that preaching aims to exposit, explain and apply the meaning of the Bible to our lives. The reason for this is that the Bible is God's word, inspired, infallible, inerrant, profitable - all 66 books of it. The preacher's job is to minimize his own opinions and deliver the truth of God. Every sermon should explain the Bible and then apply it to people's lives. The preacher should do that in a way that enables you to see that the points being made actually come from the Bible. If you can't see that they come from the Bible, your faith will end up resting on a human being and not on God's word. As an unchurched seeker for the first 25 years of his life, Pastor Stu knows that the word of God is what produces faith and change in a person's life like nothing else can.

Children's Ministries:
CWC provides age appropriate Bible lessons and learning activities that are both fun and spiritually rich. The children learn about the character of God, the work of Christ, and the means of living in a right relationship to Him. At CWC we're committed to assisting parents in fulfilling the scriptural command to train their children in a way that honors the Lord (Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 6:6-9). At the heart of children's ministry is basic Bible teaching which is designed to clearly present to every child their need for the Savior, Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23; 5:8).
