Over a decade ago Centenary United Methodist Church made a decision to be a reconciling congregation which means that we understand that every person is a child of God no matter who they are or what life has dealt them. We made a commitment to welcome everyone regardless of age, race, socio-economic status, educational experience, or sexual orientation. We were the first United Methodist Church in the state to make this commitment of welcome. In essence, "if you breathe you are welcome."
