Center for Total Eye Care

The history of our practice dates back to 1968. That was the year in which Dr. David P. Mohr opened the first ophthalmology practice in Carroll County. He was dedicated to providing leading-edge solutions for a whole host of vision problems along with the highly personalized care that his patients would truly appreciate. It didn’t take long for Dr. Mohr to become the trusted source of many area doctors for their patients’ vision needs. In 1986 Dr. Barber joined Dr. Mohr’s practice. Dr. Mohr retired in 1998, and since then Drs. Jun and Friedman joined the practice, which has been renamed Center for Total Eye Care. From a humble beginning with one ophthalmologist, we now operate two office locations with a support staff of over 25, including several board-certified opticians. Today, Drs. Barber, Friedman and Jun still follow the same practice philosophy that was set forth by Dr. Mohr nearly 40 years ago.
