Central American Medical Outreach, Inc. (CAMO) is a non-profit humanitarian-aid organization founded in 1993 by Kathy Tscheigg. Moved by the suffering she observed as an RN and Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras, Kathy resolved to do what she could to change the situation. Kathy returned to Honduras with a team of physicians and technicians from the United States in early 1992 and began CAMO in May of 1993.
