More about Central Community Church

OUR BELIEFS:

* That the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers. (1Thessalonians 5:23-24)
* In the eternally existing Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:18-20)
* In the Bible as the inspired Word of God, the only infallible rule for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 - John 8:31,32)
* In God the Father who concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of man. (Romans 5:8)
* In Jesus Christ, His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, teachings, vicarious death, burial and bodily resurrection. His ascension into Heaven, and His future personal return in power and glory (John 14:6)
* In the Holy Spirit, His present ministry, rebirth and renewal as well as the working of spiritual gifts. (I Peter 4:10 - Romans 12:1,2)
* That all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. Only repentance and faith in Christ can restore us in fellowship with God. (Romans 3:23 - 6:23)
* The transforming power of the Holy Spirit. (Galations 5:22-25 - I Thessalonians 5:16-24)
* The Great Commission (Acts 1:5-8)
* In the resurrection of the dead: the believer to life everlasting and the unbeliever to the resurrection of the judgment. (Romans 6:23 - I John 2:17)
* In the Church world-wide, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members. (Matthew 16:18)
* In the Ordinances of Water baptism, through immersion, and the Lord's Supper.
* In what is termed "The Apostles' Creed" as embodying the fundamental facts of the Christian faith.

We fulfill our purpose through these seven priorities:

* Worship: We desire worship that touches God's heart in a style that is intimate, dynamic, and culturally current.
* Word: We want to study, teach and obey the bible.
* Prayer: We are committed to the face that we can be agents of change through prayer.
* Fellowship: We seek to develop real friendships built on Christ's love.
* Ministry: We believe that all Christians are called to minister God's mercy to the lost, the sick and the poor.
* Training: We aim to provide training for all aspects of responsible Christian life and ministry.
* Evangelism: We seek to prepare individuals and send out missionaries to reach the lost with the Good News of Christ.
