Central KY Hounds

We here at Central Kentucky Hounds strive to produce the most desirable breed of Bloodhound that we possibly can. Our breeding parents are on sight and are worked with on a daily basis with socialization and obedience. We also train them for search and rescue for the missing. Yes our breed is of the working dog line. But even if your not wanting a Bloodhound to use for work they will make an excellent family pet. These hounds although large when grown are very good with children. You do have to work with them while they're in their puppy stages to assure they don't get to rambunctious around little people. They have the gentle giant nature and little people can be knocked down do to their size. But you couldn't ask for a better companion for kids they love the attention they get from them. We call them our attention hounds because they love attention.
