Central Maui Animal Clinic was founded in 1999 by Dr. Shae Martin. Since then, the clinic has grown from a staff of two to a staff of 18, plus six veterinarians and a relief vet. Now housed in a modern, well-equipped and centrally located Kahului facility, we offer wellness, surgical, dental and dermatological services, and integrated and emergency health care for dogs and cats.

Our "Pet Resort" provides personalized and affordable boarding care, as well as grooming services. Pet owners moving to Maui will be happy to know that our quarantine boarding service provides not only three fulltime staff members, but also the daily opportunity for your pet to enjoy Maui's sunshine and fresh air in our fenced backyard.

When Dr. Shae Martin opened a clinic inspired by the concepts of committed, caring and compassionate veterinary health care, she had no idea that she would earn "Veterinarian of the Year" and "Small Business Person of the Year" awards. And while she appreciates this recognition, the philosophy behind every service provided at Central Maui Animal Clinic is still what it was in the beginning: our understanding, support and respect for the human-animal bond, and for the special part that pets play in all our lives.
